Our students have powerful ideas for social impact. Our Social Ventures Incubator helps bring those ideas to life.

Acceptance Criteria:

Students must be duly registered full-time or part-time at Memorial University of Newfoundland and in good standing.

Our support continues for a period of min. 6 months past graduation.

Students can be from any discipline at Memorial University.

Ideally the students would have a track record with social entrepreneurship or a significant level of expertise in the social challenge, which can include lived experience.

Programming outcomes

Provide social venture incubation to support MUN students (in particular those in the Faculty of Business Administration's MBA in social enterprise and entrepreneurship).
Support the launch and development of social ventures in Nfld.
Create a 'space' where entrepreneurial ideas for social impact to come to life and build a community of social innovators and social entrepreneurs.
